Fuma changelog

A repair release. Everything here is 1.0.0 doing what it already said it did — the lens editor keeping your settings, the menu telling the truth about what works, and the download installing the way a Mac app should.

• Each lens keeps its own settings. Spot, Highlight, and Curtain are tuned separately now: size, softness, and outside dim belong to the preset you set them on. In 1.0.0 there was one shared set, so adjusting one lens quietly rewrote the other two.
• The editor saves what you see. Applying now stores exactly the values in front of you. An editor window left open follows the app instead of holding an old copy, so it can no longer put back settings you had already changed — and switching preset loads that preset's own values instead of wiping what you had dialled in.
• The Lens menu item works before Accessibility is granted. Option-Space never needed the permission, but the menu row for the same action was greyed out as though the app were inert.
• Clearer first run. The permission window leads with the gesture people actually use — tap Option-Space to focus, tap again to release — and now says which gestures do need Accessibility: Option-scroll, Option-Tab, and Escape.
• The disk image installs properly. It now carries the usual Applications shortcut to drag the app onto. The 1.0.0 image held the app alone on a read-only volume, with nothing to drop it on.

Resizing with Option-scroll stays session-only by design: it retunes the lens for the moment you are presenting and never overwrites the size you saved for that preset.

Fuma remains free in full — every lens, preset, and control, with no licence.

Initial release of Fuma — a macOS menu-bar focus lens that gently shapes where attention goes while you teach, present, or walk someone through a screen. Nothing is recorded, captured, or sent anywhere.

• Three lenses, all included: Spot (circle), Highlight (rounded rectangle), and Curtain (square), each with its own size, softness, and outside-dim defaults.
• Hold Option-Space for a focus session that ends when you let go, or tap it to pin the lens on and tap again to release it.
• The lens follows the pointer across every display, and rebuilds itself when you plug in or unplug a screen.
• Option-scroll resizes the active lens and Option-Tab switches between Dark Focus and Frosted Focus. Plain scroll and plain Tab stay with whatever is underneath, so you can keep reading and moving through fields with the lens up. Escape closes focus.
• Lens editor with live preview for size, softness, and how much the outside dims — and your choice is remembered the next time Fuma starts.
• Automatic update checking, plus About, Support, and Diagnostics from the DNZ Labs runtime.
