Fuma
Fuma lives in your menu bar and gives you a quiet focus lens for teaching, presenting, and guiding attention without recording the screen.
Open Fuma from the menu bar
Click the Fuma icon in the menu bar, then grant Accessibility when onboarding asks for it. Fuma uses it for the global focus shortcut and in-session keyboard handling.
Start a focus session
Hold Option-Space for temporary focus, or tap Option-Space to pin the lens on. Move the pointer to guide the focus area.
Adjust while focused
Option-scroll to resize the active lens, press Option-Tab to switch between Dark Focus and Frosted Focus, and press Escape to close focus. Plain scroll and plain Tab keep working in whatever is underneath, so you can read on with the lens up.
Tune the lens
Open the editor from the menu bar to adjust size, softness, and outside dim level, then apply the settings for future sessions.
Use more presets
Switch between Spot, Highlight, and Curtain from the Preset submenu or the editor — a circle, a rounded rectangle, and a square, each with its own defaults. All three are free, and the one you pick is remembered the next time Fuma starts.
