Sidyma

Add development roots such as ~/Developer or ~/Projects, then enable any separate system categories you want inspected. Sidyma scans only the folders and locations you choose.

Run a scan and review storage by project, ecosystem, or artefact type, filtered to Safe, Review, or Protected. The treemap sizes each repository by what it holds and subdivides it by safety, so the biggest thing on disk is the biggest thing on screen. A monorepo stays one card with its package count in metadata; Xcode data, package-manager caches, simulators, and Docker appear separately under System.

Safety groups separate rebuildable items, slower rebuilds, items that need review, and protected artefacts. Recently active projects and protected items stay outside the safe recommendation set.

Sidyma compares each scan against the last one that used the same folders and settings, so you can see what grew and what is new. History keeps earlier clean summaries with an honest before/after footprint, and the separate Downloads report covers installers and archives when you enable it.

With a license, inspect exact paths, select eligible artefacts, export the plan, and move the reviewed selection to Trash. The outcome is recorded locally so you can export the report or reveal items still in Trash.
